TEACHERS DAY CELEBRATIONS
SEPTEMBER 8, 2016

This year Teachers Day was celebrated at LK Singhania Education Centre, Gotan with lot of joy. The function was lead by Mr. R C Joshi, Principal. Speaking on the occassion Mr. Joshi told that a teacher plays great role in the student’s lives. Teachers are the real shapers of future of the students which can never be ignored. Teachers make their own lesson plan to make education more effective and interesting as well as facilitate students learning.


Mr. Joshi told that a student can rely on his/her teacher for guidance on each and every aspect of his/her life; and a good teacher never disappoints his pupils.


Students of the school had organized various games, dance and singing programmes for their teachers as a token of their love and respect to them. Prizes were also distributed to the teachers.



LKSEC PRINCIPAL BAGS CBSE AWARD FOR HIS VALUABLE CONTRIBUTION IN THE FIELD OF EDUCATION

Shri. R C Joshi, Principal of LK Singhania Education Centre, Gotan has been selected for the coveted CBSE Award for the Year 2015 for his contribution in the field of education.

The award comprises a certificate of commendation, Rs 50,000 and a shawl. He will be felicitated during the function at Kedarnath Sahni Auditorium, Dr. S P Mukherjee Civic Centre, Jawaharlal Nehru Marg, New Delhi on 3rd Sept, 2016.

The Selection of the Principal was based on considerations such as academic efficiency, innovation, genuine interest, and love for education, perseverance and reputation in the society. He joined teaching profession in 1991. He has around 26 years of experience — 18 years as a teacher and 8 as a principal. He worked in GD Birla Ranikhet and BRJD Bhorugram for 3 and 2 years as Economics teacher and joined LKSEC Gotan in 1996. Joshi Sir has also authored a series of books on Economics.

CBSE ANNOUNCED THE AISSCE 2016 RESULTS
MAY 22, 2016

L K Singhania Education Centre’s students amazed everyone through their staggering performances, outshining their last years’ performances. In the CBSE All India Senior School Certificate Examination result 2015-16, Kaushal Kumar Choudhary from Science Stream secured 95.8 percent marks whereas Aryan Baid from Commerce secured 94.4 percent marks and in Arts stream, Rakshita Rathore secured 92.8 percent marks and brought laurel to the school by standing first in the School merit list. LKSECIANS SHINE IN THE SPEECH COMPETITION
FEBRUARY 8, 2016

Our students , once again have added feathers of achievements to the Golden cap of success by winning bagful of prizes in “Smt.Hagami Devi Dhariwal Memorial 3rd Inter School Speech Competition” held at Prestar Public Secondary School – Chhoti Khatu on Jan,31st , 2016 . Team LKSEC was led by Ms.Anupama Bhatnagar (Incharge) and Mr. Rajesh Sharma.


Total 9 schools participated in the same and Master Harsh Nathani of class IX stole the show impressing one and all through his speech in English on the topic ‘Social Network and Young Generation’ bagging the First position with a cash prize worth Rs. 3,100/- ,a certificate of achievement and a momento, while Master Jay Prakash Mundhra also of class IX bagged the Second position along with a cash prize of Rs. 2,100/- , a certificate of achievement and a momento for his speech in Hindi titled ‘Naitik Shiksha Ka hras , Charitra par prabhav’ which touched the hearts of the audience.


The icing on the cake was completed with the Rolling Trophy won by the stars of LKS on the occasion. Bravo ! The stars of LKSEC.


LKSEC STUDENTS SHINE AT INTERNATIONAL INFORMATICS OLYMPIAD 2015

1st level result of International Informatics Olympiad (iiO) 2015 announced and the following students won the Gold Medals-

INTER-SCHOOL ENGLISH DEBATE COMPETITION 2015

The students of LKSEC once again showed their wit and caliber in the Inter-School English Debate Competition 2015 held at BRJD Public School, Bhorugram, Rajasthan on 28th November 2015. Miss. Khushi and Master. Titash Roy represented the school and brought laurels by lifting the Winner’s Trophy.They were awarded with a TROPHY & 5000/- Cash.


The topic of the debate was ‘The school can only inculcate morals and morality among the students.’ and the team was escorted by Ms. Manibha and Mr. Vijay Kumar.


ALL INDIA IPSC STILL ARTS FESTIVAL 2015

A team of 10 Students participated in the IPSC STILL ARTS FESTIVAL 2015 held at MGD School, Jaipur from 19th to 21st NOVEMBER, 2015 and following were the achievements –

ALL INDIA IPSC MUSICAL, LITERARY AND DRAMATIC COMPETITION 2015
NOVEMBER 3, 2015

All India IPSC Musical, Literary and Dramatic Competition 2015 was conducted in Daly College from 22nd October to 24th October 2015 in which 23 school of repute across the nation participated in nineteen events. Once again LKSECians showed their mettle in all the categories namely Musical, Literary and Dramatic and brought laurels for themselves and the school. 35 students with great zeal and zest showed their talent in various activities in Music, English and Hindi and got the overall trophy for Musical.


On the opening day Gargee Bhandari and Sejal Jain showed their preparedness in Hindi Literary Quiz and won the competition. Rakshita Rathore grabbed third position in Hindi Story Writing Competition as well as got consolation prize in the Hindi Essay Writing Competition. In Hindi skit LKSEC got third position in which Arihant Jain, Abhishek Rathi, Titash Roy, Dikshita Nakra, NIlesh Agarwal and Mihir Modi raised the issue of social intolerance and showed how politicians and media people sensitize the issues in the name of religions.


In English Advertisement Making Competition Umang Saraf and Sanket Singh attracted everyone’s attention with their creative ideas and stood runner up in the completion.


In group Patriotic and Folk song competition Alisha Tandon, Anuj Joshi, Vikas, Bharat, Rsihiraj, Shristi Singh, Sonali and Tanvi Nathani mesmerized with their songs and were able to clinch second position. On the other hand in the Indian Orchestra Competition Anuj, Aayush, Dikshita, Harsh, Harshit, Mayank, Rishiraj and Sonali showed their brilliant talent on various Indian instruments and got third position. Rishiraj Verma got consolation prize in the Classical Indian Solo Instrumental Competition. In the Western Group Instrumental LKSEC settled for the consolation prize in which Bharat Chajed, Linchon Gautam, Mayank, Nilesh Agarwal, Nitesh and Shikar rocked the stage.

FIRST POSITION AT REGIONAL LEVEL

Master. Shubham Rathi ( ID NO 11099) of class VIII secured FIRST position at Regional Level in the recently conducted Creative Expression Contest on India-Africa Forum Summit by CBSE. He participated from AJMER Region in the Category 2 i.e. for the students of classes VI to VIII .



ALL INDIA IPSC BAND COMPETITION 2015
OCTOBER 23, 2015

The IPSC BAND COMPETITION at L.K.S.E.C , Gotan began on 15 Oct. 2015 , the air was reverberated with the soul stirring martial tunes and foot – tapping drumbeats . Mr. B . K. Arora , President, JK White Cement Gotan , the Chief Guest , Mrs. Sushma Arora , Vice President L.K. Singhania Education Center , the Guest of Honor , along with Administrative staff were present for the leg cramping fight. The ceremony began with unfurling of the IPSC flag with the National Anthem played in the background descending a solemn mood at the football ground .


12 schools with 400 students from the different parts of the country participated in the music nut . Out of which 3 were under Pipe Band Category and 9 under Brass Band Category . In his speech Mr. B . K . Arora , the Chief Guest , threw light upon the benefit of team work and buoyant the students to perform so .Than after he declared the opening of the competition .


The first day hypercompetitive teams were from the Pipe Band group , who with the tunes such as Mera Bharat mahan , Kadam-kadam badaye jaa …….. aroused the patriotic feelings as they marched with sweat dripping down their face and butterflies fluttering around their stomach .


On the second day there was a nerve – racking competition between the teams who participated in the Brass Band category . The two days were full of expression of passion through the harmony of melody with dynamic movements.


The judges who judged the competition were Inspector Sukh Dev Singh , Inspector Avtar Singh Naik , Mr. Praveen Ansari , Inspector Narender Kumar and Inspector Hema Ram.


Colours and standards were cased as the IPSC flag was lowered on the closing ceremony on 17 October 2015 . During the closing ceremony the Principal Mr.R.C.Joshi gave a speech in which he motivated the participants to develop the sportsman spirit and progress on the silver path of achievements in their life . Subsequent to the speech all the participants of the pipe band played different tunes together under the able leadership of Rounak Bhartia from LKSEC and under the able guidance of Mr.Vikram Singh Bisht,Ms.Poonam Rawal and Mr.Govind Sahai. In the same manner the participants of the Brass Band presented their heart throbbing performance under the leadership of Vishal Verma from Sainik school Kapurthalla and the able guidance of Mr.Satish Kumar, Mr.K.C.Bhatt, Mr.Ummed Singh and Mr.Parshuram Thapar.The masterpieces played by the teams made the air nostalgic reminding all about the ‘Beating Retreat’, one of the optimum parts of Republic Day Parade.


Then came the most awaited moment of the competition when the results of the clarinet geek were announced in which in the Pipe Band Category first position was captured by LKSEC, Gotan and the second position by Mody School, Lakshmangarh. In the Brass Band group the first position was begged by the two band nerds , Sainik School Kapurthalla and Birla Balika Vidhyapeeth, Pilani and the second position went to Birla Public School , Pilani.


As the competition was over the campus was filled with the sound of the retreat.




SPIC MACAY LKSEC CHAPTER

Spic Macay LKSEC Chapter organised a spectacular event on 10th Oct 2015 evening. Classical Dance of Manipur – Pung Cholom left the audience spellbound. It was a wonderful and enthralling experience for the students as well as the teachers.

Our school won the CHAMPIONSHIP trophy of All India IPSC Basketball (U 17 Boys) Tournament 2015 held at Maan Public School, Delhi from 1 – 5 Oct 2015.


Master. Prikshit Neyol was declared as the Best Player of the Tournament.


And Priskshit Neyol, Krishanpal Singh, Shivank Goenka, Ankur Agarwal and Ishwar Agarwala selected for Nationals.

A team of SIX students escorted by Mr. D K Gupta, Computer Teacher participated in the All India Inter Public School IT Fest 2015 hosted by YPS Patiala on 2nd & 3rd Oct-2015. In the Website Designing Event our students (Saksham Garg, Sanket Singh and Shubham Yadav ) secured II position and were honored with Silver medals & Certificates. DRAMATIZATION OF HINDI NUKKAD NATAK ON ‘CHILD LABOUR’
SEPTEMBER 12, 2015

To create awareness regarding Child Labour among the people, the students of LK Singhania Education Centre, Gotan performed a Nukkad Natak on the theme of Child Labour. The skit conveyed the message that children must avail education at all cost. Parents must put all their efforts to ensure that their kids should not be deprived of education. The message was clear that education is the right of every child and even the constitution of India supports it.

The skit conveyed the message that if children are not getting education, we will create unskilled labourers of future who can transform into criminals if their needs are not fulfilled. To create responsible and talented citizens of tomorrow, education if the Achilles remedy.

WORKSHOP ON SOFT SKILL DEVELOPMENT
JULY 28, 2015

A workshop was organized by MUN World India on 15 July ‘2015. It was conducted by Mr.Anansh Prasad, who is the founder & Managing Director of the MUN World India and Mr.Bhavesh Muni. The workshop was of 6 hours & the major focusing was on soft skill development &MUN Procedural Training . It included general assembly, spreading global awareness, developing critical thinking , soft skills etc.

It was an excellent workshop . There were small activities organized by Mr. Anansh , the students enjoyed those activities. This type of workshop help the students to develop the skill of public speaking.
